Hello everyone. Bad news, unfortunately. I won’t sweeten the deal; some time back, I mentioned that the only reason I would take **a long break from uploading would be economic.** This weekend, something occurred that will force me to put an end to most, if not all, of my online activities indefinitely. This, of course, involves my comic and Patreon, too.
In short, **PATREON IS CLOSING.**
**>>Before everything else, let me state the obvious: ALL THE COMMISSIONS IN MY CURRENT BATCH WILL BE COMPLETED. So, to all my customers: it’s okay, I got you.<<**
**Now, I don’t like crying about my personal issues online.** As such, I won’t talk in detail about what happened. But it’s big. Health is fine, though; don’t worry. I considered taking another short break, but given how many times it happened, and because this issue is part of the reason why this intermittent workflow occurs, I decided to dedicate my full attention to it until it’s solved. That said, I worked very hard for almost five years (and more, if you consider how long I’ve been at it). Let it be known: I don’t regret this, and I would do it again if I could. In fact, given the chance, I will; in what form, I’m not sure.
**Needless to say, my Patreon has already been unpublished.** I know this is rather abrupt; we had the polls and many other things going, but so is the problem I’m facing. If you asked me last week whether or not this was an option, I would have said **“fuck, never”**, which is why there were absolutely no telltale signs about it ever happening. And yet, here we are. It is what it is.
**The Discord server might close,** though it will stay up for some time after this point.** I’m still considering it,** as a few people have offered to moderate it in my absence. What's certain is that I will stay more or less available for communications, though at least the first few weeks, I will probably be somewhat distant, as I need to spend some time licking my wounds.
**I want to conclude with a final, enormous thank you for all the support you guys have shown. **I feel lucky because there are people like me who didn’t get a quarter of the attention I had, and while it might not have been the mainstream success most artists aspire to, I really was happy to see those who were there excited for a new page. Sheer passion, and the few of you who were interested, were the only reasons why I kept going.
Again, thanks a lot. See you around and keep kicking ass.
